January 24, 2007, Alameda, CA - RGB Spectrum announces an advanced version of its WCP™ (Web Control Panel) software for its MediaWall® multi-screen controller.

The basic WCP, which ships free with every unit, is designed for set-up and simple control of the wall processor. Normally customers use WCP in conjunction with a third-party controller, such as an AMX.

The new Advanced WCP provides full operational control capability using a mouse and on-screen cursor and offers an alternative to a third-party controller. Image priority, window position, aspect ratio and size are handled with computer desktop-like ease and precision. The software also allows use of the cursor as a pointer in presentations.

Advanced WCP is based on the same PC web browser architecture as the basic WCP and adds multi-level security, i.e. a password protected administrative level providing for full control, and a restricted user level for basic operation. The previously announced on-screen clock option is also included.

Advanced WCP will be introduced in February as an option. It is also available as a field configurable upgrade on existing units.
